Trail Use Tips A number of car break-ins have been reported to local police at the Highway 96 bridge overpass parking lot and at the Hadley parking lot near I-694. Oakdale police have advised us that they believe a ring of professional burglars is operating in the area and advise that trail users should take the standard precautions when parking your car in any parking lot. These include;
Do not leave valuables in a visible place inside your car.
Lock your doors.
Carry your purse/wallet or cell phone with you.
If you must store valuables in your car, place them in the trunk of you car before you arrive at the parking lot. ________________________________________________________________________________________
Trail Use Tips
Keep to the right side of the trail. Alert other trail users, especially horses, when passing.
Respect the rights of other trail users.
Yield to slower moving traffic.
Keep the trail clean; pack out your litter.
Stay on the trail.
Don’t trespass on adjacent property.
Drug and alcohol use is prohibited.
Camping and fires are not allowed.

Pets must be leashed and under control.
Motorized vehicles are not permitted on the trail.
