On behalf of the Minnesota DNR Division of Parks and Trails, I am excited to share great news that the Brown’s Creek State Trail will be opening very soon! The 5.9 mile trail that connects Stillwater with the Gateway State Trail has been paved and DNR staff are applying the finishing touches to ready the beautiful trail for a public opening. We are planning for a “soft” opening date this Friday, October 31. An official news release will be sent once the trail is open, but we want you to be the first to be aware of the big news and to thank you for your contribution to creating a legacy for current and future generations to enjoy: Thank You!
The Brown’s Creek State Trail official opening celebration and recognition ribbon-cutting event is planned to coincide with National Trails Day on Saturday, June 6, 2015. Brown’s Creek will be at the center of celebrating Minnesota’s growing network of state trails, made possible by the commitment and support of many.
Thank you for the important role you have played to help make Brown’s Creek State Trail a reality. Please Save the Date on Saturday, June 6, 2015 to participate in a fun celebration of our mutual success.
