Horses

Horses are allowed on an unpaved portion the trail from Highways I-694 & MN 36 to Pine Point Park, a distance of about 8 miles. Horse trailers and trucks may be parked at Pine Point Park where a fee is required by Washington County via a cash only self-serve lock box.
The area around Pine Point Park includes a number of wooded horse only trails. Several horse boarding farms are adjacent to the trail or nearby. There are two bridges and one under pass in this 8 mile stretch of trail that are able to be used by horses to avoid crossing Manning Avenue, MN Highway 96 and County Road 12. Horse users are required to horse pass before riding on the trail.
