Job Description for “Webmaster”

Gateway Browns Creek Trail Association

·        The GBCTA wishes to create a new “Webmaster” position on the Assn. Board of Directors. This is a volunteer position, and this person will also become an active member of the Assn. This position serves on an annual basis, as do all of the Officers and Directors.

·        The current website platform for Assn. business is ‘Wild Apricot’. The webmaster will the administrator of this platform.

·        The webmaster will be asked to research and report on alternate platforms, which may be more useful and cost effective for the Assn.

Ongoing duties:

Actively manage website and keep all Assn. information up to date.
Actively work with Officers and Directors to post and email relevant information for the membership and the public.
Work with the Assn. Secretary and Treasurer to keep membership information current
Explore activation of a Facebook page to post Assn activities and information
Attend Assn. meetings and present reports on website activities and needs
