Horses are allowed on an unpaved portion the trail from Hadley / I-694 to Pine Point Park, a distance of about 9 miles. Horse trailers and trucks may be parked at Pine Point Park where a fee is required by Washington County via a cash only self-serve lock box.
The area around Pine Point Park includes a number of wooded horse only trails. Several horse boarding farms are adjacent to the trail or nearby. There are two bridges and one under pass in this 8 mile stretch of trail that are able to be used by horses to avoid crossing Manning Avenue, MN Highway 96 and County Road 12. Horse users are required to have a horse pass before riding on the trail. The trail is also approved for multi-users so please share with walkers, joggers, mountain bike users. |
