The Gateway Trail is paved for its entire length. South of highway 36 the trail is older and rougher . North of hwy 36 it is smoother making it better for rollerblading.

Brown's Creek trail is rated as a beginner intermediate trail for rollerblading and has a newer smoother surface . More details and a review are here
